Spotnik Font

I really like Cape Arcona Type Foundry. The CA Spotnik Sans Serif Font is free for personal use only. This font has a retro-styled condensed geometric Sans look, drawing inspiration from various typographic designs. It may have a unique shape, but it fits perfectly. To capture the same vibe that fascinated us, we experimented with more letters and images. The final result is a typeface that is grotesque with a light contrast, wide proportions, and a large x-height.

It becomes wider the bolder the weight. There is also a regular "s" supplied in case you find the swirly "s" unsettling. This particularity has little bearing on the typeface's overall vibe, which is "nerdy but welcoming." It's more like the accumulation of specifics drawn from the original inspiration.
