Today, people all over the world can recognize the Jeep logo. There isn't a lot of information available regarding the Company's image when it comes to the history of the Jeep emblem and Jeep grill. For a while, there was no logo at all on the Jeeps that were made.

Throughout the majority of the Company's history, the Jeep wordmark remained the most widely used option for Jeep logos. Even though the full Jeep grill logo still exists, it is usually only used for promotional purposes. This typeface is very similar to the mazda font.

Jeep chose a sans-serif font in the 1970s and has stayed with it ever since, despite a few changes over the years. Because the wordmark is in bold Helvetica, it is easily recognizable. It is also very simple to read, even when it is emblazoned on a car's badge.
